All around him, he heard the gasps and startled cries of others around him as they looked up. Niric squinted as he followed their gaze. "By the ancestors..." said someone close by.
The sky beheld the sight of dark figures rising from the distance. They seemed to glow as the sun's rays shined off what appeared to be armor. As they drew closer, their habiliments become more visible. Every inch of their metal plating was colored black, with red stripes streaking across the edges. On the right side of the chest plate was a white paw print painted onto it.
